Bridging North to South

Through funding gained from the National Research Foundation of South Africa (NRF) / Academy of Finland (AF) Science and Technology Research Collaboration, the “Bridging North to South” project will be performed as a collaboration between the Department of Material Science and Engineering at Aalto University, Finland, and the Centre for Minerals Research at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. The project aims to outline research protocols for evaluation and implementation of closed water circuits in mineral concentrators, to achieve zero emission plants.
